While GDPR can be seen as the regulators big stand on behalf of consumers, the industry itself should be taking a proactive approach too. So what should advertisers and vendors do? Understanding how SEO works – If you don’t understand how SEO works then you won’t appear very high (or at all) on Google search pages. Make your reader "feel" just how big the problem is and how detrimental the effect is on their life. Then tell them how your product can ease the pain they are feeling and show them how much better, simpler and easier their life will be when your product completely eliminates the problem they are suffering with. Always provide usable, relevant information. Give your readers a reason to buy your product and to recommend you to their friends.
Websites and services based on Web 2.0 concepts—blogging and interactive online communities, for example—have impacted the affiliate marketing world as well. These platforms allow improved communication between merchants and affiliates. Web 2.0 platforms have also opened affiliate marketing channels to personal bloggers, writers, and independent website owners. Game advertising - In-Game advertising is defined as "inclusion of products or brands within a digital game."[50] The game allows brands or products to place ads within their game, either in a subtle manner or in the form of an advertisement banner. There are many factors that exist in whether brands are successful in their advertising of their brand/product, these being: Type of game, technical platform, 3-D and 4-D technology, game genre, congruity of brand and game, prominence of advertising within the game. Individual factors consist of attitudes towards placement advertisements, game involvement, product involvement, flow or entertainment. The attitude towards the advertising also takes into account not only the message shown but also the attitude towards the game. Dependent of how enjoyable the game is will determine how the brand is perceived, meaning if the game isn't very enjoyable the consumer may subconsciously have a negative attitude towards the brand/product being advertised. In terms of Integrated Marketing Communication "integration of advertising in digital games into the general advertising, communication, and marketing strategy of the firm"[50] is an important as it results in a more clarity about the brand/product and creates a larger overall effect.

If I’m going the super affiliate route I build “funnels” for my campaigns. So let’s say for example, I want to promote biz opp offers. I’ll create a funnel that has to do with “making money online” and then put multiple offers throughout the funnel. I’ll have a lead gen capture, but also have an email sequence, and multiple pages or even multiple websites in my funnel. It doesn’t take hundreds of pages unless I’m really wanting to secure some big SEO traffic at which point I’ll just put a blog on the site. My decision is always made by how long-term I want to be in the niche and how big the niche is.
